Grandma Jellane's Easy Lasagna
1 1/2 lb. Hamburger
1 Small Onion
1 Large Jar Spaghetti Sauce (store bought or homemade)
10 Lasagna Noodles
4 Cups Henning’s Shredded Cheese – here are our favorites for this recipe: Mozzarella, Tomato Basil Cheddar or Mediterranean Sunset Cheddar
Brown the hamburger with onion, season to taste. Drain the grease. Set aside a small amount of spaghetti sauce and add the rest to the hamburger, stir till blended. Cook noodles in salted water, drain water. Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Add the reserved spaghetti sauce to the bottom of the pan. Put one layer of noodles in pan, ½ of the meat sauce, ½ of each cheese – Repeat – Baked covered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, then uncover pan and cook for 10 minutes. Recipe freezes well.
